Whitetail Deer Hunting

Pheasant Hunting

The first successful introduction of pheasants to this country occurred in 1881 when Judge Owen Nickerson Denny (US consul to China) shipped 30 Chinese ringnecks (26 survived the journey) to his home in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.

Fishing is the activity of hunting for fish. It is an ancient and worldwide practice that dates back about 10,000 years with various techniques and traditions and it has been transformed by modern technological developments.
Hunting Dog
Hunters with dogs report the satisfaction that the dogs seem to exhibit. Excitement is evident as they see the hunters load shotguns, take to the field, and begin the hunt. Hunters will put a bell on the dog's collar so that they can keep track of the dog. When the bell stops ringing that means the dog is on the point.
Hunting
